Q:  What is Windows Section 7?

A:  Windows Section 7 is a program by Microsoft Windows 7 and Live Nation that gives members access to special concert deals. Members who join the program gain access to specially-priced concert tickets, discounted concert merchandise, and fun contests and sweepstakes to win music prizes.


Q:  How do I register?

A:  Registering for Section 7 is free. Go to www.mySection7.com, and provide your name, email and zip code, along with a password that you create, and you’re in. It’s that simple!


Q:  What are the registration prizes?

A:  Get in quickly! The first 37,500 members who sign up will receive a voucher for two free concert tickets. The next 50,000 registrants will receive a voucher for a free one-year fan club membership from a list of artists.


Q:  What is the Daily Offer?

A:  Members receive a daily offer each weekday, such as a $7 concert ticket or $7 concert merchandise, from all types of artists!


Q:  How do I receive the Daily Offer and other Program Offers?

A:  However you want! There are seven ways to be notified of the offers: 1. Bookmark the website www.mysection7.com and check in daily 2. Download a Windows desktop gadget at url 3. Q:  Do I need to register to purchase the offers?

A:  Yes. Anyone can follow the offers through the fan pages on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, but only registered members can purchase the offers.


Q:  Is there a limit to how many offers I can buy?

A:  There can be a purchase limit on selected daily offers, but you can take advantage of each day’s daily offer if you get there in time!


Q:  Today's offer is sold out. How can I get it?

A:  Once an offer sells out, there is no additional inventory available for that specific offer.


Q:  Do I need to enter the weekly sweepstakes each week?

A:  Yes. Each week a new sweepstakes will be posted to www.mySection7.com and you must enter for each individually to be eligible to win.


Q:  How will I know if I’ve won a weekly sweepstakes?

A:  If you win a weekly sweepstakes, you will be notified via email at the account submitted at registration.


Q:  How do I change my profile and settings?

A:  Log-in to www.mySection7.com and click “My Account” in the upper right.


Q:  Who do I contact for customer support?

Q:  What is the Windows Section 7 Sign-up code and how does it work?

A:  The Windows Section 7 Sign-up code is a “one time use only” promotional access code which allows the bearer to obtain the following: Two (2) general admission tickets for a select concert at a participating Live Nation owned or operated venue in the United States, based on availability under this program.* *There are a limited number of these discounted tickets available for each show at select Live Nation venues during this program. The Code may be used toward two (2) general admission tickets for a select concert at a participating Live Nation owned or operated club in the United States, based on availability under this program. Parking and shipping fees may apply. No Cash Value or Cash Back. Not for sale or resale. Tickets are subject to Windows Section 7 Sign-up program availability and venue capacity restrictions. Tickets to a particular show are not guaranteed. Code must be redeemed by 11:59 PM local time on June 1, 2010, while supplies last.


Q:  What does it mean if the show I want isn't on the Windows Section 7 Sign-up code redemption site?

A:  If the concert you want to attend is not listed or states ‘unavailable’ it is because it is not a participating concert or the concert is sold out. Please check the website frequently during the season to learn about the latest updates as events are added.


Q:  I went to LiveNation.com but couldn’t find the Windows Section 7 Sign-up page. Where can I find it?

A:  To access Windows Section 7 Sign-up promotion page enter www.mysection7.com into your browser window.


Q:  I’m a new member of Windows Section 7 and haven't received a code good for 2 free tickets. What now?

A:  The Windows Section 7 Sign-up code is distributed by Live Nation. Please call Live Nation Tickets at (888) 598-4299 daily from 9 a.m. - 1 a.m. EST, or please contact us by submitting a question via the "Ask a Question" tab located at www.livenation.com.


Q:  Am I automatically signed up for a newsletter subscription when I redeem my code?

A:  No. If you would like Live Nation to email you a weekly concert calendar for all other Live Nation events in your area, you may also register for My Live Nation at www.livenation.com.


Q:  How long is my code valid?

A:  Your Windows Section 7 Sign-up code is valid until May 1, 2010.


Q:  My Windows Section 7 Sign-up code was lost or stolen. What do I do now?

A:  Unfortunately, lost or stolen codes cannot be replaced.


Q:  My concert was cancelled. How do I get my Windows Section 7 Sign-up code back?

A:  We regret any inconvenience this may have caused you. If your concert has been cancelled or you are unable to attend a rescheduled date please call Live Nation Tickets at (888) 598-4299 daily from 9 a.m. - 1 a.m. EST.


Q:  How close to the date of the concert am I able to redeem my Windows Section 7 Sign-up code?

A:  You may redeem your code no later than 72 hours prior to the show, while supplies last.


Q:  Can I request that my tickets be available for pick up at will call?

A:  Yes, if it is an option offered at the venue and selected event.


Q:  I never received an email confirmation for my tickets. Can you resend it?

A:  If you haven’t received your email ticket confirmation please check to make sure that it didn’t end up in your Bulk Mail folder. If you still don’t see it, please contact us by submitting a question via the "Ask a Question" tab located at www.livenation.com.


Q:  Can I redeem my Windows Section 7 Sign-up code at the venue or via mail?

A:  Codes may only be redeemed online at promo.livenation.com/section7prize.


Q:  I printed my tickets and now have lost them. May I reprint my tickets?

A:  You may reprint your tickets for personal use only. Please note that the unique bar code printed on each ticket will allow access to only the first ticket with that code to enter the venue. If you have any questions regarding your tickets, please call Live Nation Tickets customer service at (888) 598-4299 daily from 9 a.m. - 1 a.m. EST.


Q:  Can I use my Windows Section 7 Sign-up code for reserved seating instead of GA tickets?

A:  Windows Section 7 Sign-up codes may be redeemed for general admission tickets only. Upgrading is not available for this promotion.


Q:  Are there any additional fees associated with the Windows Section 7 Sign-up code?

A:  There are no additional fees for redeeming your ticket if you print your ticket at home or will call, where applicable. There may be an additional fee, however, if you choose to receive your tickets by regular mail or 2-3 Day Express Delivery, if applicable.


Q:  If there are still tickets available for purchase, why can't I redeem my code for these tickets?

A:  There are a limited number of discounted tickets available for each show for this program. Please check the website frequently during the season to learn about the latest updates as events are added.


Q:  How do I purchase additional tickets along with my free tickets?

A:  Redeem your promo code at promo.livenation.com/section7prize. When you have completed the redemption process, please click the “purchase additional tickets for this concert” link on the final ticket confirmation page. This link will take you to the event page on livenation.com where you can purchase additional tickets.


Q:  Can I redeem multiple Windows Section 7 Sign-up codes at the same time?

A:  No, you can only redeem (1) promo code at a time. To redeem additional promo codes for the same event, follow the same procedure you used for the first redemption.


Q:  When I’m purchasing additional tickets, how can I get seats that are together?

A:  Tickets allocated for the Windows Section 7 Sign-up promotion are general admission tickets. All general admission sections are general admission even though some tickets might have a seat and section number listed on the ticketing page.


Q:  Where's my Section 7 email with my voucher code?

A:  Your Section 7 email may have been delivered to your Spam folder. Please check there and then set-up your email so future notifications can go to your Inbox.

A:  Please go to your email for the voucher code. If it's not there, check your Spam folder. You can also set-up your email so future notifications go to your Inbox.
